Elder Care Services of Dekalb County, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) agency contracted by the State of Illinois. Their compassionate, trained and licensed staff provides education and coordination of services to DeKalb County seniors, their caregivers and family members.  Their goal is to enable seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

Aurora Township offers many programs and services at a low cost or no cost for adults 55 and better who are Township residents.

Assistance services include case management, elder abuse intervention, information, referral and outreach, shared housing, an adult day center, and nursing home ombudsman services

Since 1973, our agency has been advocating for seniors, their families and caregivers. As an Northern Illinois Area Agency on Aging (AAoA) member agency, our highly trained staff and dedicated volunteers provide services to adults 60 years old or better who live in Kane, Kendall and McHenry counties.

We are happy to refer those living outside of our service area to an appropriate AAoA nearest them. We are authorized by the Federal Older Americans Act and the Illinois Department on Aging to assist seniors and their families and caregivers in accessing benefits and programs for which they are eligible.
