Adult Day Services Activity Aide

Salary:
$18.00 an hour
Adult Day Services Activity Aide will be responsible for providing a high level of interaction and engagement to clients in an adult day services program. This involves planning and facilitating exciting activities, monitoring clients’ engagement levels, providing emotional support for the clients, and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. Requirements for the job include a high school diploma, previous experience in a care setting or related field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Activity Aide to provide a stimulating environment for our clients in our Adult Day Services program. As an Activity Aide, you will plan and facilitate recreational activities that are meaningful and enjoyable to our clients, while also keeping a watchful eye on their engagement and overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities tailored to meet the clients’ needs and interests.
- Monitor clients’ engagement and participation in activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting positive social interactions.
- Assist in meal times, ensuring activities are timely paused and resumed.
- Maintain accurate client records, documenting participation and any noticeable changes in behavior or mood.
- Communicate regularly with clients’ families and healthcare providers to keep them aware of their loved one’s level of engagement and overall happiness.
- Ensure clients’ safety and comfort during all activities, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up the activity area after use.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or recreational setting desired, but not neccessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as setting up and taking down activity areas.

Home Services Care Aide

The job involves assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring their health status, and providing companionship and emotional support. The qualifications for the job include a high school diploma, certification as a nursing assistant or home health aide, experience in caregiving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Services Care Aide to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to clients while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Monitor clients’ health status, including vital signs, medication management, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, documenting all care provided and any changes in clients’ health status.
- Communicate regularly with clients’ families and healthcare providers, keeping them informed of any changes in the client’s condition or care.
- Ensure clients’ safety and comfort at all times, taking appropriate measures to prevent falls, accidents, or injury.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health or caregiving setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
