Home Services Care Aide, will be responsible for providing care and support to clients in their homes. The job involves assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring their health status, and providing companionship and emotional support. The qualifications for the job include a high school diploma, certification as a nursing assistant or home health aide, experience in caregiving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Services Care Aide to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to clients while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Monitor clients’ health status, including vital signs, medication management, and mobility.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records, documenting all care provided and any changes in clients’ health status.
  • Communicate regularly with clients’ families and healthcare providers, keeping them informed of any changes in the client’s condition or care.
  • Ensure clients’ safety and comfort at all times, taking appropriate measures to prevent falls, accidents, or injury.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health or caregiving setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
